I heard that remaking a movie is a very tough one. Only few film makers are succeeded in remaking movies. In Tamil, a director named “M. Raja” directed 4 movies as of now. All are remade of telugu successful movies and it got succeeded in Tamil too. Recently he completed directing a movie “Thilalangadi”  and its also a remake of telugu successful movie “Kick”. I have watched the movie “Kick” before. So I am expecting to see the movie “Thilalangadi”.

But 2 days before, I watched the movie trailer of  ”Thilalangadi”. Its looks same like kick movie. But this copy cat “M.Raja” , not only copied the movie, he copied the trailer also. (aiyo.. aiyo).  Locations, Dress colors, dialogues are all completely same. Why this director dont have a single idea of his own. I know its very difficult to remaking a movie, but the director should made different atleast in trailer. I have never seen frame by frame copy of trailer. Please checkout the 2 movies trailer and try to find out the differences.

The Kid(1921):

Genre:  Comedy, Drama

One of the biggest hit of Chaplin movies. This movie is more sentimental than the comedy. The story is about the relationship between a tramp and a little kid. The kid acted very well and the legend chaplin’s direction, music and acting is great. If you wanna see a good sentimental comedy, watch this.

The 400 Blows(1959) - French:

Genre: Drama

If the parents are not good, then how the children will get affect. This is the theme of the movie. Very good one. The boy acting was good and the screenplay made this movie as a masterpiece. I cried in climax.  Its an emotional sentimental movie. Watch this masterpiece, if u get time.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly(1966):

Genre: Adventure, Western

Is this movie is good or bad or ugly?? No. this movie is awesome. lol.. I always wanted to watch this movie, but I did not get time to watch this flick because its runtime is 180 mins. Finally I watched it. In this dollar triology, Clint eastwood and the background score stole the show. I havent found the story in last two movies. In this movie, the ugly(Tuco) stole the show and the story is good. I love the character “Tuco”. So funny and having more talent than the other two. Now I can say this is one of the best western movie I ever seen.

Little Manhattan(2005):

Genre: Romance, Comedy

Every one faced their first love in their life. The first love and first kiss is unforgettable one. If we start remembering those days, we will feel our fun, innocence, affection and the true love. If you watch this movie, you will surely go back to ur memories of first love.  I like this movie very much. The story is about love between two 11 years old kids. Its a cool movie, we can watch this with our family. If you want to rewind your memories, watch this.

Angels and Demons(2009):

Genre: Mystery, Thriller

Last year I havent watched many movies, So I started watching 2009 movies this year. I have lot of expectations about this movie before watching, because of “The Davinci Code”. I liked that one. Like that movie, This movie has fast paced screenplay but Its not impressed me. Its just like an ordinary adventure thriller movie. Its a good time pass.

Aliens in the attic(2009):

Genre: Fantasy,Family,  Sci-fi, Comedy

Fun movie. This movie is for children. Children will really like it if they watch. The story is about the  kids how they protecting there family from 4 aliens in the terrace. Dont think about the logic. Good time pass movie.

The Spy Next Door(2010):

Genre: Action, Comedy

Nice one. As usual Jackie chan stunts are good and the comedy worked out. Good entertainment and time pass.

Kotha Bangaru Logam(2008) - Telugu:

Genre: Romance, Drama

I can say its a very good romantic telugu movie after bommarilu. “Teenage love is an affection or true love”  This is the theme of the movie. The acting performance of all stars are really good, especially prakash raj acted very well.  The big plus point of the movie is music. Songs are very nice. For last few days I am always  hearing these movie songs. I would like to recommend this movie to all the teenage folks.

Yamadonga(2007) - Telugu:

Genre: Action, Comedy

As usual telugu masala movie. I watched this movie for “S.S.Rajamouli”. I am really disappointed. I did not find any new things. May be the masala movie lovers can enjoy this movie.

Goa(2010) - Tamil:

Genre: Comedy

VenkatPrabhu’s third movie. Its not good as his earlier films, but its a one time watchable.  I enjoyed while watching this movie. Premji and Jai acted very funny. This movie is very funny  for the people who knows tamil very well, others please keep away from this.

Tamil Padam(2010) - Tamil:

Genre: Comedy

First spoof movie in Tamil. First half is watchable and the second half is really bore. I  appreciate the director for trying the spoof movie concept in Tamil.

Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai(2010) - Tamil:

Genre: Comedy

Now this time, Actor Vishal tried to act as a play boy character. Good try. The whole movie is fun filled and watchable. Santhanam’s comedy is good and the three heroines are did their part well. I like the ‘Neetu Chandra’ among three heroines. She is hot and acted well too. Watchable once.

Last year lot of movies released.. Some of the movies were released with lot of expectations. Some of them failed to impress audiences and some of them got success.  Last year I spent most of the time by watching movies of different languages.  Here I am going to tell some  movies of 2008 which I feel best and worst…

Hollywood:

I watched only a few hindi movies last year. Here i listed some movies which I liked most.

Bollywood:

1. A Wednesday (wow.. i like this movie very much.. screenplay is so good and a good message in it. This film is just about 90 mins, u wont waste time by watching this movie.)
2. Rab ne bana di jodi (its my personal favorite of last year)
3. Mumbai meri Jaan
4. Ghajini

Kollywood:
Last year is very bad year for the kollywood. Very less movies only released. Tamil movie scripts are just made for actors not for good stories. It is very difficult to say good tamil movies in the year 2008. But I feel some tamil movies are good last year, see there below

1. Disaster Movie(plz dont see it, if anyone give the dvd for free)
2. The Hottie and Nottie (:((… worst film.. my friend gave this film dvd for free, so only I watched… it really sucks….)

Kollywood:

Last month I downloaded this movie because all movie critics gives many positive opinions about this movie.  Everyone says its an excellent movie, but I am not interested to watch this movie. because I thought its one more slow drama movie with violence… Last week I heard that this movie nominated for golden globe awards and ar rahman also nominated for best original score. This makes me more expectations about this movie. So I watched this movie 2 days before.. It fulfilled all my expectations about the film.

This film story is based on the novel written by Vikas Swarup. The story of the movie is not an ordinary, its really different.  This story clearly depicts the mumbai slums.   Screenplay and editing is awesome. Background music really rocks.   Casting is good. All the actors are lived in there role.  But some violence in this film.

“little boys escaping from the gangsters”, “speaking with her girl friend during the final question in KBC game”,  “Anil kapoor giving wrong option as answer to hero”, “Brother sacrifice” are all my favorite scenes.

In one particular scene, one cop beating a little boy(hero) , then one american couple try to stop the cop.. on that time,

Indian boy says: “You wanted to see a bit of real India? Here it is!”

American lady: “Well, here is a bit of the real America, son.” (”money”)

That ameican lady gave money to cop to stop beat the little boy.

From this scene, they clearly described difference between indian and american.  This film is directed by Danny Boyle.  I am not see anyone of his films but I heard about his film “Trainspotting”.   Most of them says “Trainspoting” is a dirty film which tells story of druggists, so I avoid to watch that movie. I am wondering danny boyle  born in england, but how he show the real life of mumbai and indians in this movie. Really great…

But in this movie, they show most of the bad things of india, why they did not show good things.. This is the only thing i dont like.. But its defently a master piece.  Every Indian should watch this movie. Highly recommended to all.

Today this movie bags 4 golden globe awards for best direction, best screenplay, best original score and best motion picture. I think this movie will bag oscars in next month oscar ceremony.
