For the last few months, i have been attending birthday treats with my colleagues. They have treated me and others at different nice restaurants. In all those restaurant excursions, I was the one who ordered several, even more dishes from the menu.
Of course, i have tried all the dishes in the list, and have not spared a single viand. All my colleagues have been wondering how could i be so lean when i eat so much. Yes, I am lean but that does not equate to eating scantily. I LOVE eating specially if the dishes are cooked perfectly and deliciously! Eating so much does not make me a heavy eater but a food lover. However, at the moment, my friends are afraid to invite me in their birthday treats and other food adventures…LOL!
Second one of dollars trilogy. Not a great story but worth a watch it for client eastwood stylish acting and background music. Now I am looking for the 3rd part, may be I will watch it next week.
October Sky(1999):
Genre: Biography, Drama
What a great movie!! I am really impressed lot after I watched this movie. This movie is based on a true story about “Rocket Boys”. The story is about four school friends are trying to build a real rocket for their science exhibition in the year 1950’s. After I watched this film, what I understand is “If you try hard, nothing is impossible”. Father-Son relationship is beautiful handled and the screenplay was great. The message of the film is so well delivered and it moved me to tears the first time I saw it. Its not a sad tears, its a tears of joy :) Highly Recommended to all.
The Hangover(2009):
Genre: Comedy
I heard that this is one of the best movie of 2009 from my friends circle. So I watched it and enjoyed it :). I laughed throughout this movie. The great part of this movie is screenplay. If u wanna good time pass, watch it.
Duel(1971):
Genre: Thriller
Can anyone direct a very interesting thriller movie using a truck and a car?? Steven spielberg did it and succeeded. I heard this is the first movie of Steven Spielberg, Its really amazing. Some times I felt like watching Alfred hitchcock movie. The best of this movie is Screenplay. From start to end, I just sitting in edge of the seat. Great thriller movie. Watch it and enjoy the thrill
Monty python and the holy grail(1975):
Genre:Comedy
An epic adventure spoof. Some scenes are hilarious and some scenes are not so funny. I heard that this is one of the best comedy movie ever, but I dont like this movie. The reason is I cant understand this movie (lol).
The Fugitive(1993):
Genre: Action, Thriller
Instead of the title “The Fugitive”, they should named the title like this “Harrison Ford vs Tommy Lee Jones”. Very Interesting. The movie is all about chasing between one police officer and a fugitive. Dont think its just an action movie, it has twist in climax too. I can say this is one of the best action thriller movie. But only one thing, I cant get it, Why “Tommy Lee Jones” won oscar for this movie? Its just an enjoyable and entertainment character. This is not his best. This movie is recommend for action movie lovers.
Sword Fish(2001):
Genre: Action, Thriller
Nice movie. Worth a watch it for climax twist. As usual John Travolta stole the show. Good time pass.
Ready(2008) - Telugu:
Genre: Action, Comedy
As usual telugu masala movie. Tamil Dhanush going to act in the remake of this movie in tamil. Thats why I watched. Its Ok one. Few songs are good. Worth a watch it for once.
Chiruthha(2008) - Telugu:
Genre: Action
Perfect Masala. Chirutha is the first movie for Ram charan(Chiranjeevi’s Son). I liked his second movie “Maghadheera”, Its made me to watch his first movie. What I felt is good. Good time pass. Action, Comedy, Sentiment, love,Songs all are well mixed and made a movie as worth watch.
The above short movie name is “The horribly slow murderer with the extremely inefficient weapon” I cant stop my laughing until the end of this movie. Its hilarious. Nicely Pictured. Just watch it once, You will also laugh for sure.
I thought Rajinikanth is the only hero famous for his great stylish acting, after seeing clint eastwood in this movie, I have changed my opinion. He is really awesome.. Story is not impressive, but his stylish acting was awesome.. And one more great thing is background music. Worth a watch it for clint eastwood.
City Lights(1931):
I never seen chaplin movie before. This is my first chaplin movie I watched. Chaplin - “What I want to say about this great legend” Absolutely great film in non-speaking films period. I loved this film very much.. This is one of the best romantic comedy movie I ever seen. There are some indian film directors got inspired from this movie and remade the movie in our regional languages. for eg.(”Thullatha manamum thullum(tamil)”, “Nilave mugam kattu(tamil)” and one old mohanlal’s movie). I liked all the scenes but especially I laughed too much on the scene of chaplin before he enter the boxing event. I heard that Albert Einstien couldn’t control tears in the last sentimental scene of this movie.Dont miss this great movie.
Modern Times(1936):
After watched City Lights, I am became chaplin fan, so I tried to find out the best movies of him. Then I watched this movie. Its also one of the best movie of chaplin. He showed how humans lost their jobs due to machines during the 1930’s in newyork. He came up with message oriented story and got victory on it. Nice movie.
Chaplin(1992):
After watch those two chaplin movies, I am very much eager to know about his life. So I watched this movie. Ya its a well made biography movie. This movie is very impressive one. Robert downey Jr. acted as a chaplin(good choice). Nice acting too. Directed by the great director “Richard Attenborough”. He is famous for directing the biography film of famous personalities. I watched the “Gandhi(1982)” movie of him. I recommended this movie for chaplin lovers.
The Accidental Husband(2008):
Nice romantic comedy. Its a good entertainer. If u feel bore, watch this movie. Good time pass. Nice to hear tamil songs in a hollywood movie(all are a.r.rahman songs). I hate uma thurman, I dont know the reason but I like her acting performance in pulpfiction, kill bill… May be I dont like her for not good looking.
Eeram(2009) - Tamil:
Horror genre. Worth watching. but not so horrible. Its the tamil version of hollywood horror movie “Dark Water”. The visual effects are somewhat new to the tamil audience, that makes this movie hit.
Oye(2009) - Telugu:
I watched this movie with lot of expectations because sidharth was the lead role. He is very dedicated person in telugu cinema. First half of the movie fulfiled my expectations, but the second half failed to impress me. Second half is some what slow and the way of story is changed. Climax was expected one. Seeing a baby shamili as a young shalini is nice(welcome back ). One more good thing is music. Yuvan rocks.. Worth a watch it for the first half not for the second half..
Two days before my senior colleague called me to meet him. So I went near to him. After I came near to him, he started opening MS-word and asked me “spell First name”. Within a second, I said “F” “I” “R” “S” “T”(I spelled the letters). Suddenly my senior colleague showed me a terrible face reaction and told me “I will not forget you in my life time”, I could’nt get it why he said like that.. After a few minutes I realized that he asked me to spell my first name(”Naresh”).. Instead of spell my name, I spelled “F I R S T”.. lol… After hearing this funny incident, all my colleagues laughed through out the day.. !!!
Awesome movie. One of the masterpiece of Alfred hitchcock. I like the brilliant script handled by him. The story is about a retired detective, who is scared of heights, is hired to follow his old friend’s wife and there follows intrigue, suspense and mystery. After reading the trivia about this film, I came to know that this movie was a flop but its still a masterpiece. Dont miss this movie.
Casablanca(1942):
A wonderful classic movie. Many sites like imdb, wikipedia, rotten tomatoes praises this movie lot. It made me to see the movie with lot of expectations. I felt bore at the beginning but I liked it after heroine(Ingrid Bergman) arrived. Ingrid Bergman is damn beautiful and she acted well too. The story is about a triangular love between two men and a women during the period of world war II. The Romance, emotions, acting performances, dialogues were all made it as a masterpiece. I like the character of “Rick” moreover it is most powerful and lovable character too. I would like to recommend this movie for classic lovers.
Training Day(2001):
Nice movie. Denzel washington stole the show. He won oscar for the best actor in lead role for this movie. He deserved for it. The story is about a rookie police officer(ethan hawke) go for a one day training with the experienced bad police officer(denzel). The story is all happening in one day. Watch it for denzel’s mind blowing performance.
Hitch(2005):
Nice Romantic comedy. I enjoyed and laughed lot while watching this movie. Before Watching this movie, I have already watched the hindi version “Partner”. English version is more better than Hindi version. Good entertainment…
You’ve Got Mail(1998):
Good one. I watched it for meg ryan. She is my favorite actress. I like all her movies. The plot “Two business rivals hate each other at the office but fall in love over the internet” impressed me to see this movie. Tom hanks and Meg ryan acting was good. I am not disappointed but its not impressed me.
Magadheera(2009) - Telugu:
My telugu friends told much about this movie, thats why I watched it. Very good try by the director “S.S.Rajamouli”. I have already watched one of his previous movie “sye”. It was really good. In magadheera, I like the opening scene where the hero dives down the mountain after the heroine, horse race and the scene where hero kills 100 warriors. Flash back sequence was happening in the year 1609, that is the best part of the movie. Visual effects, music and graphics are good. The worst part is unbelievable stunts by the hero. It is might not be a great film but it is good entertainer with nicely packed commercial elements.
Peraanmai(2009) - Tamil:
First half is not good and second half is good one. Even its like a “Rambo” movie, I like it for the locations, cinematography, Jeyam Ravi’s new look and his acting performance. If they remove some unwanted scenes in the beginning, unwanted songs in the movie, it will be fine. Its a good try by the director S.P.Jananathan. Worth a watch it for once.
The above picture is taken by me while I went to ponmudi(kerala) with my colleagues. I tried many different shots with my camera, but I can say this is the best one of all the other pictures. See the background, its fully covered by mist and we couldnt see others near to us.. While I was taking this picture, wind blowed heavily(see her hair flying). Now I going to share one funny experience which is happend to me during my training. I have a punjab friend(vijay Singh) who is my neighbour in my hostel. One day he told me “In america, the meaning of Sexy means Beautiful.” So I thought its cool to say “sexy” to girls.
One day myself and vijay singh were sitting in front of the hostel. On that time, two girls came towards us.
Then vijay told “See these girls are my college juniors..” then I replied “wow. cool.”
After a few seconds, they came near to us, then I said “the girl in white T-shirt is good, another girl is really looking sexy..”
After that, I turned back, vijay was not there, He was running inside the hostel. That two girls starred at me. After going to my room, Vijay scolded me a lot for saying that. He only said sexy means beautiful, but he didnt expect I will use that before those girls.. LOL..
I got many experiences during my company training.. Now I going to share one bad experience..
One day I went to TV hall to watch tv… But as usual, some north indian girls were watching hindi TV serials. So I started studying newspaper in the hall. Suddenly one north indian came and sat near to me.. He start speaking hindi continuosly for 2 mins to me.. After he finished talking, I said “I dont know Hindi”.. Suddenly he started looking weird to me.. Then he told “Oh man, I am speaking Punjabi”.. After that I dont know what to say??!!?? lol..
Anand Institute of Higher Technology.. Tell me guys, Is this college name or institute name.. Many of the times I got insult because of my college name.. (Yuck)… This insult happens yesterday also. Yesterday I went to browsing center to take my resume printout. The guy incharge of browsing center saw my resume and he noticed my college name. then he asked
Browsing center guy: When Polytechnic institute are all started give BE degree?
me: ??!!! Why you telling like this?? I am studied in engineering college.
Browsing center guy: then what is this “Anand Institute” in your college name.? I thought its an polytechnic institute..
Oh F***. How many times i am getting insult because of my college name.. It really sucks…
